George O. Raney, 78, died Nov. 29, 2002 at the MetroWest Medical Center in
Framingham.
He was the husband of the late Jean (Hill) Raney.
Born in Charlestown, MA he was the son of the late John and Mary (Delorey) Raney.
Mr. Raney was a veteran of W.W.II and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of
the VFW. He had worked for more than 30 years at G.A.F. in Millis.
He is survived by his daughters; Geraldine Hurd of Mendon and Bonnie Raney of
Holliston, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He
was the father of the late Deborah Raney who died in 1968.
The funeral will be held on Wed., Dec. 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home,
854 Washington St., Route 16, Holliston. The Rev. Ernest Batten will officiate.
Burial will be in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston.
A calling hour will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wed. prior to the funeral service.
