Holliston – George M. Haynes, 89, died July 19, 2006 at Medway Country
Manor.
He was the husband of Gloria Haynes and his first wife May (Russell)
Haynes for over fifty years who passed away in 1992.

He was a long time resident of Holliston prior to moving to Ashland.
He was born in Cambridge, MA and was a graduate of English High School in
Boston.
He worked for the Bank of New England and retired from there in 1980 after
45 years as a member of the Greater Boston Bankers’ Association.

Besides his wife Mr. Haynes is survived by his daughters, Linda Weld and
her husband Ted of Holliston, Sharon Serocki and her husband David of
Hopkinton; his sons, Michael Haynes and his wife Pamula of Holliston and
William Haynes and his wife Cathy of Hudson, NH; a brother, Robert Haynes
of Melvin Village, NH; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was
the father of the late Donald Haynes and brother of the late Charles
Haynes.

Visitation Hours will be held on Saturday July 22, 2006 from 10:00 to
12:00 noon at Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Route 16,
Holliston www.chesmorefunealhome.com
The funeral will be held following the visitation hours at 12:00 noon
with Rev. Dr. David Fountain of the First Congregational Church of
Holliston. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston. In lieu
of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 44 Binny St.,
Boston, MA 02115
