Franklin-

George L. Ineson, 82, was surrounded by family and loved ones when he passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2009. Born in New York, he was the son of the late, Clarence and Gertrude Ineson. He was the husband of his beloved, late wife, Helen (Wolfle) Ineson who passed away in 2000.

Raised and educated in New York, he served in the United Sates Navy and was a WWII veteran. He moved to Holliston with his family in 1968, and subsequently Franklin. He was a master plumber with the Plumbers Union Boston Local #12. George, lovingly known by most as Pops, loved life! An avid golfer, reader and jack of all trades; he loved to dine out, travel, take cruises and often ended his evening with a few rounds of cards. He was a member of the Fairs and Squares Dance Club in Framingham for many years. Most of all, Pops was known for lending a hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his sister, Ruth Sehring and her husband Bob of Louisiana; his children, George of New Hampshire, Nancy Carey and her husband Glenn of Franklin and Tom of North Carolina. He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren; Jennifer Schofield and her husband Dan; Matthew Carey and his wife Kristy, Jamie and Christopher Ineson and Nicholas, his adorable great-grandson. He also leaves behind his friend and companion, Nancy Olson.
