Holliston-

George J. Gannon, 86, of Holliston, died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the Medway Country Manor. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late George F. and Sarah (Connolly) Gannon and husband of the late Lois T. (Pirie) who died in 1985.

A Holliston resident of 40 years, he was involved in the Holliston Senior Center.

He is survived by 1 son, Peter K. Gannon and his wife Diane of Manville, R.I., 1 sister, Connie LaBossiere of Natick 1 grandchild, Erin Gannon of Manville, R.I. and his companion and friend Anne Baldacci of Holliston. He is predeceased by a daughter, Susan Gannon who passed away in 1983, as well as 4 sisters.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 10:00-11:00a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
