HOLLISTON –

George (Gigi) R. O’Toole, 71, of Holliston, formerly of South Boston and
Watertown, died June 29, 2008 at his home. He was the husband of 43 years
to Elaine (Egizio) O’Toole of Watertown. Born in Boston, he was the son
of the late George and Gertrude (Butler) O’Toole.

He had been employed as a maintenance mechanic for Polaroid Corp. for 35
years at the Cambridge and Norwood locations. He was a member of Div. 14
Ancient Order of Hibernians in Watertown for 40 years. His favorite
past-time was spending time at his summer residence in Sandwich, MA and
bicycling, kayaking, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He
was a sports enthusiast and a fan of the Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins.

Besides his wife, Elaine, he is survived by four children, Theresa O’Toole
of Durham, NC; Patricia Black and her husband Kenneth of Hopedale, MA;
Deborah Doucette and her husband Joseph of Framingham, MA; and Catherine
Joy and her husband Michael of Medway, MA; and his grandchildren Kylee,
Colin and Mykenzie Black, Ryan and Nicole Doucette; and Jesse, Brandon and
Connor Joy. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Gertrude
and James McCarthy of Brockton; and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law and
many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Michael and half brothers Joseph and James O’Toole.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Tuesday July 1, 2008 at the Chesmore
Funeral Home 854 Washington St., Holliston www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com. A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30am in Saint Mary’s
