Hopkinton-
Frederick S. White, 84, of Hopkinton died Friday, March 26, 2010. Born in
Dennisport, MA. He was the son of the late Edward and Beatrice (Warr)
White. He was the husband of Lois Alfreda (Nickerson) White of Hopkinton.

Fred was a WWII Navy Veteran who served in Africa. He was a member of the
Masons, VFW, American Legion, and Shriners. He was a life member of the
Massachusetts School Committee Association and on the building committee
for the Hopkinton Senior Center and Keefe Vocational Technical High
School, where he was a teacher and guidance counselor. He served as the
clerk of works at Elmwood School in Hopkinton and as building inspector
for the Town of Hopkinton. He enjoyed reading, politics, golf, music,
playing drums, and being a greeter at the Hopkinton Elections.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 children, Sheila Tiberio and her
husband Ronald of Natick, Cheryl Malloy and her husband Dan of DeBary,
FL., Richard White of Honolulu, HI., and Diane Sandler and her husband
Mark of Framingham. He also leaves behind his brother, John White of West
Yarmouth, and sister-in-law Betsey Reddish of Andover; 4 grandchildren,
Stephanie Thorpe and her husband Andrew, Ronald Tiberio Jr. and his wife
Karen, Rebecca Sandler and David Sandler as well as 3 great-grandchildren,
Kyleigh and Trevor Tiberio and Christopher Thorpe. He is predeceased by
his brothers, James, Edward, and Thomas White.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 4-7pm at the
Chesmore Funeral home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St.

at 12:00 at the First Congregational Church of Hopkinton. Donations in
