Medway and formerly Holliston-

Francis T. Kennedy (Bud) 80, of Medway and a former longtime resident of Holliston, passed away October 7, after a battle with cancer. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Anna (Manning) and Francis P. Kennedy. He was the husband of Donna L. (Gaudet) Kennedy of Medway.

A graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Milford, Bud also attended East Coast Aero Tech. He was retired from Burke Brother’s Transmission in Holliston. He was a loving husband and devoted Papa to his grandchildren. Bud enjoyed vacations in the Cape, boating, salt water fishing, enjoyed painting and woodworking. He especially loved listening to Big Band, listening to baseball games and WBZ RADIO.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Mitchell and her husband Lenny of Medway; a sister, Ann Burke of Dudley and his 3 nephews, as well as two grandchildren, Taylor and Madison. He is predeceased by his sister, Rosemary Kennedy. A graveside service at St. Mary’s Cemetery will be held on Friday, October 28th at 1:00p.m.
