Hopkinton-

Francis “Manny”John Deiana, 62, of Hopkinton, died Thursday, January 10, 2006 at the Milford Regional Hospital. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Helen (Bernard) and the late Francis John Deiana.

He was the owner and operator of FJD Masonry. He was an avid sports fan and a huge football fan. He was a family man and a proud grandfather.

Besides his mother Helen Deiana of Hopkinton, he is survived by 1 son, Frank Deiana Jr. of Whitinsville, 4 daughters, Brenda Mansir and her husband Mike of Hopkinton, Sherry Deiana of Oregon, Tina Brenn and her husband Thomas of Whitinsville, and Elisa Deiana of Whitinsville. He also leaves 5 brothers, Dickie and Billy Deiana both of Hopkinton, David Deiana of Milford, and P.J. and Bruce Deiana both of New Hampshire. 5 sisters, Cookie Ware of Milford, Sheila Metjkeo of Westboro, Sharon Schiloski of Hopedale, Terri Kenney of Hopkinton and Cindy Deiana of New Hampshire. 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Mansir and Kristina Brenn. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2006 from 2-5pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. A mass of christian burial will take place on Monday, January 15, 2006 at 10:00a.m. at the St. John’s Church in Hopkinton.
