Holliston-

Frances M. Irish, 87, died Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the Mary Ann Morse Rehabilitation Center in Natick. Born in New York, New York she was the daughter of the late Georgiana (St. Jean) and Francis DePremio.

Mrs. Irish was a longtime Holliston resident who was active in the Women’s Guild, St. Mary’s Church of Holliston, and was a volunteer at the Senior Center. She was known as the Egg Lady of Holliston making Faberge type eggs which she displayed at many craft shows in New England. She also enjoyed traveling with the Seniors.

She is survived by one son, William Gay and his wife Joan of Framingham. She leaves 2 grandchildren, Michael W. Gray and Matthew W. Gray, 5 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Tyler, Kayla, and Lauren. She is predeceased by her first husband, Wilbert Gay who died in France in 1944 and is also predeceased by her second husband, Everett Irish, who passed away in February, 1986. She is also predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston on Monday, August 14 at 9:00a.m.Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
