Holliston-

Fay Ellen Harrington, 86, of Winthrop, and a former longtime resident of Holliston, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019. Born in Saco, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Hayes) and Clarence Main. She was the wife of 24 years to the late Vincent Harrington.

Prior to her retirement, Fay worked as a floral designer for various floral shops, including The Place and Wild Side in Holliston. She was an award winning painter and artist. She was an avid traveler,  enjoyed cruising and was a loyal Boston sports fan.

Fay is survived by her children, Timothy Harrington and his wife, Daisy of Boston, Nancy Harrington and her wife, Christine Craig of Newburyport, and her grandson, Samuel Craig. She is predeceased by her brothers, Marshall and Glendon Main.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30th from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral home service will follow visitation at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately with family.
