Mendon-

Evelyn Viola Murray Morawiec, 80, of Mendon and formerly of Holliston, passed away at the Timothy Daniels House in Holliston on Monday, October 24, 2022. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn Long and Fred LaTown. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Murray and Lech Morawiec.

Evelyn loved being outdoors. She especially enjoyed gardening. She loved dogs and visits from her family.

Evelyn is survived by four children, Virginia L. Mauriello and her husband, Larry of Bunnell, FL, Richard J. Murray and his wife, Maureen of Bellingham, Kenneth A. Murray and his long-time partner, Debbie Lincourt of Middlefield, MA, and Beth Abramo and her husband, Scott of Mendon, with whom she lived for over 20 years. She also leaves behind her sister, Carolyn Flaherty of Winthrop; as well as 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband, Richard J. Murray and her siblings, Fred LaTown and Frances Teter.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3rd from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
