Dear Dad, It certainly doesn\'t seem like it has been three years now since you have been gone. The time passes by so fast. It just goes to show how precious life is and that each day is truly a gift. Life is to be enjoyed, cherished, and lived well. I know that your presence is far but also near because I can honestly say that I\'ve felt it. There was one particular day that I had reassurance by a sense of guidance from you. It is hard to explain, but I was certain you heard me talking because I suddenly knew what I had to do. I know what you would have done as you always were on top of things that needed to be taken care of at home. Please continue to watch over me and especially mom too. I cannot be there for her and from one parent to another, I know you can understand this heartache. You were a good dad and wholeheartedly an honest hard working man who cared about providing for his family. Mistakes were made but that\'s life and how we all learn. Thank you for the last birthday card that you gave to me in 2018. It meant a lot, and I still have it. I am so glad that you and I were always able to acknowledge our birthdays together. There are a lot of good memories from all of those summer celebrations around the 4th of July. Rest in eternal peace Dad and know that your missed and loved by me and my family.
