Elvira B. Haberski of Holliston, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She was 100 years old. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Maddalena (D’Arcangelo) and Vincent Palmieri. She was the wife of the late Stanley L. Haberski.

Elvira was renowned for her sense of humor, her love of service and volunteering, and her strong Catholic faith. Elvira greatly enjoyed card games, crafts, sewing, cooking, and the music of Andre Reiu. She had an extremely active and sociable life well into old age.

Elvira is survived by six children, Michael Haberski and his wife, Nancy, Marie Haberski,Stanley Haberski and his wife, Gail, Anne Dod, Robert Haberski and his wife, Jeni and Joan Niermeyer and her husband, Paul. She also leaves behind her brothers Armando Palmieri, Dante Palmieri and his wife Louise, as well as 15 Grandchildren, 25 Great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, Paul Haberski and her siblings,Enrico and infant sister, Blandina.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 15th at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston
