Elnora “Michele” Curran, 80, of Holliston, passed away peacefully at Milford Regional Medical Center on Monday, April 12, 2021 surrounded by her children. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Elnora (Jones) and James Curran.
Michele grew up in Amesbury, MA and attended catholic school. She raised her children in Rochester, NY and upon retirement she moved to the Holliston area to be closer to her family. She was a devoted member of Saint Brendan’s Church in Bellingham. She retired from a long career at AT&T, which then became Lucent Technologies. She enjoyed her exercise classes which usually resulted in lunch with friends, loved going to the grandchildren’s sporting events and loved to dog sit with her grand dogs when her family went on vacations.
Michele is survived by her children, Jim Adams and his wife, Tracey of Westwood, Mike Adams and his wife, Sandy of Holliston, Michele Bahery and her husband, Michael of Medway; her sister, Maureen Mitchell and her husband, Joe of South Carolina, and 8 grandchildren, Kelley, Kristin, Shannon, Courtney, Kayvon, Keon, Kiarra, and Kavveh. She is predeceased by three sisters, Patty Roy, Sandra Clemente and Janet Hewitt and by her first husband and children’s father, Donald Adams.
Visitation will be held on Friday April 30th from 4 to 7 at Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. A Mass will be Saturday, May 1st at 11:00 at St.Brendan’s Church in Bellingham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Brendan’s Church, 384 Hartford Ave. Bellingham, MA 02019 or to Dana Farber Cancer Inst. dana-farber.org
