Elizabeth A. MacIntosh, 95, originally from Enfield Nova Scotia, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada, she was the daughter of the late Mary O’Neill and Lawrence McDonnell. She was the wife of the late John MacIntosh.

She was a devoted mother and cherished Nana. She loved to read, bake with her grandchildren, and do word search puzzles. During her life she worked taking care of a rooming house, worked at Donovan drugstore as a cashier, and worked at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Ma as a clerk until she retired.

Elizabeth was preceded by her parents Lawrence and Mary McDonnell, her brother Dominic McDonnell, her sister Helen Simons, and her husband John MacIntosh.

Elizabeth is survived by her siblings: brothers Tom McDonnell of London, Ontario and Bern McDonnell of St. Catherine’s, Ontario, her sisters Mary Thompson of Elmsdale, Nova Scotia and Dolores Crook of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Her two sons: Kenneth MacIntosh with his wife Debby MacIntosh and Richard MacIntosh with his wife Ellen MacIntosh. Her grandchildren: Allison Nunn, Alan MacIntosh, Joseph MacIntosh, Jennifer Ansell, Melissa Conforti, Timothy MacIntosh, Jane Phillbrick and John MacIntosh. Her great grandchildren: David Ansell, Cameron Ansell, Greyson Conforti and Ainsley Bryer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be held privately with family and are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth’s name may be made to Timothy Daniels House – Activity Fund.
