Edward J. Giebutowski, 77, of Holliston, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Carlyle House in Framingham. Born in Vermont, he was the son of the late Genevieve (Kamuda) and Theodore Giebutowski. He was the husband of Dorothy (Stomper) Giebutowski of Holliston.

An Air Force Veteran, Edward worked as an aeronautical engineer at the Natick Labs for many years and was also a member of the A.I.A.A. Scouting had also been a part of his life.

Besides his wife, to whom he was married for 52 ? years, he is survived by his children, Sue Giebutowski of Waltham, Jim Giebutowski and his wife Janet of Weston; his siblings, Ted Giebutowski and his wife Pat of Rumney, NH, Frank Giebutowski and his wife Kathy of Wolfboro, NH, and Tessie Storrs and her husband Mike of Richmond, VT. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Allison and Cecilia.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28th from 2-5pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com An 11:00a.m. funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 29th at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
