Edward H. Adams Jr. of Venice, FL and Holliston, MA, died peacefully on September 15, 2010. He leaves his children Thomas and David Adams and Joan Cronin, grandchildren Jacquelyn and Timothy Cronin, and his sister Marie Springston. He is predeceased by a grandson Geoffrey Adams

Ed graduated from Boston University in 1943. He was a retired Lt. Commander in the US Naval Reserve with duty in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He worked in financial services for Draper Corp. in Hopedale and Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick. In 1978, he eagerly retired to Venice, FL with his wife and best friend, Barbara. At 93 years old, he rode his bicycle daily, doing what he loved until his very last day.

A celebration of his life will take place on Sunday, September 26 from 11am to 3pm at 241 Courtland St, Holliston. Family and friends are welcome. Arrangements from the Chesmore Funeral Home.
