LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. — Edward Daniel “Eddie” Wilmarth, 50, of Little Falls, N.Y., died unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Utica, N.Y., following a brief illness.

He was the husband of Jacqueline P. (Simpson) Wilmarth of Little Falls, formerly of Medway.

Born in Framingham, son of Warren and Emily E. (Campbell) Wilmarth of Pawley’s Island, S.C., he had lived in Little Falls for the past two years, having spent the majority of his life in Medway. A graduate of Medway High School, Class of 1975, he was a courageous and loving young man, well liked by those who knew him. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Besides his wife and parents, he leaves his siblings, Stephen H. Wilmarth of Westbrook, Conn., Russell F. Wilmarth of Hooksett, N.H., and Joan C. Wilmarth of Esperance, N.Y.; an aunt and uncle, Marjorie W. Wyman of Uxbridge and Robert E. Wilmarth of Bristol, N.H.; and his nieces and nephews, Lorrie Miner of Brentwood, N.H., Matthew Baker of Duanesburg, N.Y., Lauren Baker of Esperance, Regan Benson of Medway and Bonnie Wilmarth.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m., at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Holliston.

Burial will be in the Wilmarth family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Medway.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 19, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
