Holliston-
Edith I. Stonehouse, 92, of Holliston, passed away Sunday, December 19,
2010. Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Melbourne and
Eunice (Barrows) Howland. She was the wife of the late Warren R.
Stonehouse.
Edith and her husband were active in square dancing and were involved in
fairs for square dancing in Framingham. She enjoyed leaf peeping along the
Kancamagus Highway, sewing, crocheting, knitting and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Janice Munro of Groton, CT., Ellen Parrish
and her husband Nathan of Holliston, and Richard Stonehouse of Milford.
She also leaves behind her siblings, Eva Arkerson, Lillian Cornish,
Raymond Howland all of Framingham; Roy Howland of NH, Albert Howland of
Maine, and Arthur Howland of Holden; 5 grandchildren, Laura Neelis,
Melanie Fell, Mark Munro, Holly Parrish, Rebecca Hitchcock as well as 7
great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her siblings, George, Bob,
Curtis and Thomas Howland, and Ruth Clifford.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 4 -7 pm
at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16)
