A lifelong Holliston resident, Edith was a 1934 graduate of Holliston High School and a 1936 graduate of Chamberlain School in Boston. In 1974 she founded the well known “Wilder Shop” in East Holliston, and with family members managed this business for 32 years.

She is survived by her son, Will E. Brigham Jr. and his wife Mandy; her grandchildren, Jessica Ely Brigham Kinder and her husband Bill and Thomas Chadsey Brigham and his wife Julie; 4 great-grandchildren, Jack and Madeleine Kinder and Julien and Jesse Brigham, all of Holliston. She is predeceased by a brother, Homer K. Ely Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31st at 11:00a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Holliston. Private burial will be held at a later date. Because of her lifelong love of all animals, boxers in particular, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Bay Path Humane Society of Hopkinton, 5 Rafferty Rd. Hopkinton, MA 01748. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
