Earl Francis Murray, 79, of Holliston, died Monday, July 30, 2007 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Born in Bangor, ME., he was the son of the late George D. and Lenora E. (Allen) Murray. He was the husband of 51 years to the late Priscilla W. (Hutchings) Murray who passed away in 1997.

A Holliston resident since 1972, he was a WWII Veteran in the Navy. He was a lifetime member of the VFW 9013 in Westborough, a member of the American Legion as well as the Elks in Franklin and was a past member of the Masons in Westborough. He was an avid golfer, sports fan and spent the off season in Florida.

He is survived by 1 son, Donald Murray and his wife Maryann of Westborough, 1 daughter, Dale P. Murray of Salisbury,1 grandchild, Donald E. Murray and his wife Shelley of Bellingham, and 1 great-grandchild, Donald Surin Murray.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 5:00-8:00p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home in Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 126). Committal service will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Batten in Lake Grove Cemetery, Highland St. Holliston.
