Holliston-
Dorothy “Dot” Eunice Labouteley, 86, of Holliston, died at her home on Monday, March 7, 2005. Born in Belchertown, MA, she was the daughter of the late Gaston and Alice (Geer) Labouteley.
After moving to Holliston at the age of 4, she graduated Holliston High School is 1936, She then attended the Framingham Business School and graduated from Framingham State in 1941 with a teaching degree. She was a lifelong member of the Congregational Church of Holliston. A member of the Mass Audobon Society, Metropolitan Opera, Holliston Garden Club, Mary Wells, Mass Horticulture Society, Holliston Senior Center, Eastern Star, Chancel Committee, Historical Committee, and she also contributed to the yearly church fair at the Congregational Church. She also enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
She is survived by 2 brothers, Paul D. Labouteley of Holliston, and Roger B. Labouteley and his wife Barbara of Georgia, a niece Susan Burg of Vermont and grand-nieces Analeisse, and Perron Burg of Vermont.
A funeral service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Holliston on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will be prior in the church from 10:00-11:00a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Garden Club Scholarship Fund, Metrowest Hospice, Chancel Committee, or the Hand Bell Ringers at the Congregational Church.
