Holliston-

Dorothy Louise Wheeler, 92, of Holliston, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Skalberg) and Axel Frey. She was the wife of 56 years to the late Clifton E. Wheeler. 

Dorothy was a wonderful cook and took pleasure in crocheting. She had been the head of the Women’s Auxiliary at the Holliston VFW. She enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by three children, Donna L. Brown of Harwich Port, Scott Wheeler and his wife, Diane of Mashpee and Russell Wheeler and his wife, Kathy of Belmont, NH. She also leaves behind her siblings, Ruth Matrisciani  Alice Nickerson, Nancy Frey and Bill Frey; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter, Susan E, Wheeler and her siblings, Earl and Dick Strand and Agnes and Rolf Frey. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.  A funeral service will take place on Friday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holliston VFW, 310 Woodland St. Holliston, MA 01746
