Holliston-

Dorothy L. Norton of Holliston, died Sunday, July 16, 2006. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Mary Alice (Obert) and James McGregor. She was the wife of Robert M. Norton who passed in 1987.

Mrs. Norton was involved in the Woman’s Guild, Holliston Senior Center, and had worked for Zayres, Normans, Dolly Madison and R.E.C.

She is survived by 3 sons, Robert of California, John and his wife Deborah of Middleboro, and Stephen of Holliston, 3 daughters, Janice Gilmartin and her husband Richard of Middleboro, Carole Curnyn and her husband Michael of Holliston, and Marylyn Marcotte and her late husband Pete of Middleboro. 2 sisters, Virginia Collins of Duxbury and Ruth Walsh or Brockton. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her brother James R. McGregor Jr.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 20 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Holliston with burial to follow at Lake Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, July 19, from 5-8pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (RT. 16) www.chesmorefuneralhome.com
