Donald “Don” Ell Blakely III, 42, of Holliston, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June2,2024. Don was the loving husband of Kim and devoted father to their two young children, Ben and Bea.

Don leaves behind his mother, Sharon (Bunker) Blakely, his father, Donnie E. Blakely Jr., and his brother, Christopher Blakely, all of Maine, as well as his Aunts Su and Debbie, his Uncle Tom and his wife Jennifer and their children Thomas and Rebecca. He also leaves behind his in-laws, Linda and Steve Rowley, his sister in-law, Stephanie Richardson, her husband, Joe, and their son, Zach as well as many other family and friends.

Don adored his family and he was the glue that held everything together. He was a hands-on dad who cherished every moment with his family. An avid sports fan, he shared his love of football with Ben, watching games and looking at trading cards before bed. Kim and Don were a perfect match and loved spending time antiquing, exploring Maine and other new places. Don loved hosting and gathering with friends to craft specialty cocktails and try new recipes.  He was well-loved by his friends and coworkers who will miss his sense of humor and willingness to jump in and help at a moments’ notice.

Don left us far too soon, but the love he shared with his family will be carried in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home in Holliston, 854 Washington St. Interment will be held privately with family at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GoFundMe link below
