Don C.H. Beebe Jr., 75, of Holliston, died Monday, August 21, 2006, at home after a long illness. Born in Montpelier, VT., he was the son of the late M. Edna (Waldron) and Don C.H. Beebe Sr.

A Holliston Resident for the past 72 years, he was an Air force Veteran, Eagle Scout, and had earned his Master’s Degree at Northeastern University in Boston, and a Bachelor’s at B.U. He was past Master of the Holliston Masonic Lodge, past President of the Holliston Lion’s Club, and past President of the United Way South Middlesex Area Chapter. He was an avid golfer, and member of the Saddle Hill Country Club and Manchester Vermont Country Club. He was a founder of the Northern and Southern Open Golf Tournament and he was also an avid Red Sox fan. He was the owner of Philip Fishman Corporation for 20 years.

He was the former husband of the late Patricia (McClosky. He is survived by 1 son, Scott Beebe and his wife Cheryl of Ashland, 1 daughter, Virginia Beebe and her husband Joe Mankus of Holliston, 3 grandchildren, Brody, Taylor, and Anderson. He also leaves his life partner, Helena Dufault of Haverhill.

Visitation hours will be on Thursday, August 24, from 5-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) Holliston. A funeral service will take place on Friday in the funeral home, at 10:00a.m. with the Rev. David Fountain of the Congregational Church in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to VistaCare 690 Canton St. Westwood, MA. 02090
