Medway-

Domenica Canini, 75, of Medway, passed away surrounded by her family after a long illness on Wednesday , August 5, 2009. Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Paolo and Antonia (Malizia) Palombo. She was the wife to Lucio Canini for 53 years.

Formerly of Brighton and Waltham, she has been a Medway resident since 1993. A talented seamstress, She was active and dedicated in the Fatima Shrine Mission League.

Besides her husband of Medway, she leaves behind 3 daughters, Antenette Neal and her husband William of Holliston; Tina Moore and her husband William of Medway; Marilyn Robinson and her husband David of Holliston; 3 brothers, Guiseppe Palombo of Bridgewater, Querino Palombo of Maple, Ontario; Rocco Palombo of Milford; 3 sisters, Teresa Conetta of Brighton; and Stefanina Tamburro of Livingston, NY. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren; Laura, Jessica, Matthew, Emily, Bryan and Tyler as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 7, 2009 at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com from 4-8p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 11:00a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Holliston. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Our Lady of Fatima Shrine or the Xaverian Fathers Missionary both located at 101 Summer St. Holliston, MA. 01746
