David Thomas Bushee, 74, of Holliston, passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness on Monday, June 27, 2022. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Alice (Daley) and Carl Bushee. He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Maryalis (Donovan) Bushee of Holliston. 

David served four years in the Marines including a tour of duty in Vietnam . David was an avid sportsman. He was a member of the Hopkinton Sportsman Association, the VFW, and a member and former president of the Southboro Rod and Gun Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed building HO model trains. He was employed as a Service Manager for Buxton Service for over 33 years.

Besides his wife, David is survived by his sister, Carol Hilton of Pepperell; his sister-in-law, Anne Donovan Malavich and her husband, Robert of Lowell; two nieces, Erica McCumber and her husband, Jon of Lowell, Marilou Hyson and her husband, Bill of Milford, and his nephew, Daniel Malavich and his wife, Lauren of Dallas, GA; as well as several grand nieces and nephew. 

A celebration of life will be held in August with full military honors. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Project Comeback, 583 Adams Street Holliston, MA 01746 or projectcomeback.org
