Framingham and formerly Holliston-

David O. Noble, 82, of Framingham and formerly of Holliston, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Priscilla Alden and Olcott Noble.

David lived the majority of his life in Holliston. He graduated from General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan and returned to the area where he was instrumental in building, growing and running the W. F. Wood Corporation over the span of 40 years. He married and raised his children in Holliston and was very active in the community. David was there for everyone. A kind and generous man, he loved spending time with his friends, family and in his shop where he was always making and fixing things for others.

David is survived by his two children, Kenneth Noble and his wife Susan of Marlborough, MA, and Laura Cooper and her husband Terrence of Solsberry, IN. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Benjamin, Joelle, and Makenna; his older brother, Brad Noble, and his younger sister, Nancy (Lee) Pistone; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews in the Holliston area.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 29th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. A funeral home service will follow visitation at 2:00p.m. Internment of cremains will follow service at Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to the Michael Carter Lisnow Respite Center, 112 Main St. Hopkinton, MA 01748.
