Norfolk-
Corrine M. Slade, 74, of Norfolk, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 with her daughter, Wendy, by her side. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Camella (Galucci) and Flavio Izzo.

A graduate of Brighton High School, Corrine was a licensed real estate agent since 1980. She lived in Norfolk for 35 years and worked for 15 years at the Norfolk Schools before school SAC program. Corrine also worked for many years at WDIS, a local Norfolk radio station. She loved doing volunteer work for animal shelters and she contributed to the writing of Wet Pets, a book created for an animal shelter fundraising drive. Corrine had a lifelong love of music. She was a musical director at Actors Inc. in R.I. where she conducted musicals for them. She loved her family dearly and took great pride in her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Wendy A. Daly, son-in-law, Tim, of Holliston, a sister, Thelma Hamaty of Walpole, her grandchildren, Veronica and Rebecca Daly as well as her cousins, Robert Catalano, Valerie Gagliard and William Izzo. She is predeceased by her brother, William Izzo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
