Clara E. Kimball, 93, of Houlton, Maine and formerly of Hopkinton, MA, passed away June 28, 2016. Born in Stoneham, she was the daughter of the late Bessie (Risdon) and Herbert Corliss. She was the wife of the late Norman C. Kimball, to whom she had married on June 6, 1944.
Clara worked as a Secretary at Center School in Hopkinton for many years, and then worked at Bradlees Store in Westboro during her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Kimball Farrar Leighton of Palmetto, FL, Dennis Kimball of Whitinsville, MA, Mark Kimball of Loveland, CO, and Kevin Kimball of Houlton, ME. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brothers, Norman and Herbert Corliss.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6th from 10:00-11:30a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral home service will follow visitation at 11:30a.m. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Hopkinton.
