MEDWAY –

Christopher R. Cobb, 49 of Medway, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at Mass General Hospital in Boston after a valiant fight against cancer. Born in Waltham he was the loving husband of Pamela (Melcher) Cobb of Medway and devoted father to Henry and Audrey Cobb.

Chris embraced life with great optimism and passion. He enjoyed all physical challenges and was a PMC participant and avid tri-athlete and sports fan. He was a man of great integrity who showed his Christian faith through the life he lived. He took great joy in his children, helping to coach their sports and spent quality time with them daily always being sure to let them know how proud he was of them. He owned and operated Cobb Brothers Company with his brother and best friend, Stephen Cobb.

Besides his wife and children , Chris leaves behind his parents, Gerald and Sarah (Greason) Cobb of Sherborn, 2 brothers, Tom Cobb and his wife Debbie of Manchester, NH, Stephen Cobb and his wife Susan of Andover, MA; sister in law, Diane Cobb of Barre, MA. and 17 nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, David Cobb of Barre, MA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 4pm-8pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home at 854 Washington St., Holliston, MA. www.chesmorefuneralHome.com. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 15, at 10:00am at the Emmanuel Baptist Church located at 63 Rockwood Road, Norfolk, Ma.
