Christopher E. Currier, 60, of Franklin and formerly of Sherborn, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Joan (Calder) and William A. Currier.

A 1981 graduate of Dover Sherborn High School, Chris was hard working  with the passion for cooking. He was one of the good guys – smart, funny and loyal. People young and old gravitated to Chris. He had the gift of bringing a smile to those who knew him and to those who did not. Chris always had the time to lend a helping hand or to just stop by and visit while bringing much joy with him. When he set his mind on something, he got it done, like training for and running the Boston Marathon.

After suffering a brain injury in an accident 30 years ago, Chris continued to live his best life. He was honored with a play area in his name at Suburban Athletics Club. He will be deeply missed.

Chris is survived by his siblings, Kimberly A. Cleverdon and her husband, Mark of Mendon, Carol E. and Steven Sellew of Milford and Jonathan O. Currier and his wife, Sandra of Franklin. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Danielle, Jamin, Kristina, Kate, Sam, Emily and Sarah also his great nieces and nephews, Emma, Hadley, Nathaniel , Reese and Chase. He is predeceased by his brother, Geoffrey A. Currier who passed away December 2021.

All friends and family are invited to a graveside service for both Chris and Geoff Friday, November 25th at 1:30 pm at Pine Hill Cemetery in Sherborn.
