Bellingham-
Chester Smith Miller, 80, of Bellingham formerly of Holliston, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. Born in Medford MA, Chet was the son of the late Roy A.?Miller and Gladys (Smith) Miller and loving husband?of Margaret Ellen?(Fraser) Miller who passed in 2005.

A U.S. Army veteran, Chet served as a Sergeant 1950 – 1952, in the 88th “Blue Devils” Div. as a “TRUST Trooper” in Trieste, Italy. He was a member of VFW Post 2394 in Melrose and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).?A graduate of Bentley College, he had worked as?Comptroller at?Millis Transportation, then as a manager for Blumoff Truck Leasing. He last worked as a manager at Edart Truck Leasing in Ayer, MA.

He was a Past Master and Secretary at Bethesda Lodge AF & AM in Brighton and was a Mason for 48 years. He served as District Deputy Grand Marshal of the Brighton 5th Masonic District from 1978-79. He was an affiliated member of Mt. Hollis Lodge in Holliston and?United Lodge AF & AM of Brookline.? He was?a member of the Aleppo Shriners and a member of both York and Scottish Rites. Chet had also been a member of Myrtle Chapter #33 Order of Eastern Star in Holliston

He is survived by his children, Margaret E. Bolduc and her husband Alan of Bellingham, Roy A. Miller II and wife Diane of Norfolk, Cecil F. Miller of Virginia.??He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Barbara Miller of Colorado, brother-in-law Roland?Sitzler of?MA and VA?as well as 4 grandchildren, Marjorie L. Bolduc and fiance Thomas, Sarah E. Miller, Rachel L. Miller and Andrew A. Miller. He is predeceased by a brother Theodore L.?Miller and sister Auriel Dell Sitzler.?

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com. A ?funeral home service will take place on Saturday at 10AM, with a Masonic Funeral Service, followed by burial at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either: Shriners’ Hospitals of Springfield or Boston,
