Hopkinton-
Charlotte M. Estes, 80, of Hopkinton, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 after a long illness. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (McPherson) and I. James Estes.

A graduate of Holliston High School, Charlotte was a former resident of Holliston, Framingham, and Natick. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Holliston and St. John’s Church in Hopkinton. She spent much of her time caring for her mother and enjoyed spending time with her extended family.

She is survived by a sister, Theresa Genoa and her husband Robert of Upton, a niece, Susan Genoa of Worcester, as well as many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 9:30-10:30a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will follow at 11:00a.m. at St. John’s Church in Hopkinton with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
