Charles “Chuck” Edward Haydel, 81, of Holliston, died Saturday, March 13,
2010. Born in Louisiana, he was the son of the late George and Lucile
(Landry) Haydel. He was the husband to Barbara M. (Paul) Haydel of
Holliston.
An 8 year resident of Holliston and formerly of Everett, Chuck was a Navy
Veteran of 3 wars. He worked for P.A. Milan of Wakefield and was the
office supervisor for Todd Shipyard in California. He enjoyed bowling.
Besides his wife of 43 years, he is survived by 2 sons, Jeffery Haydel and
his wife Kim, Anthony Haydel and his wife Karen all of California; 2
daughters, Deann Haydel of Manchester, N.H., Donna Perry and her husband
James of Holliston and 1 sister, Ruth Mary “BeBe” Acosta of Plaquemine, Louisiana. He
also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, William, Tyler, Kyle, Christopher and Michael. He is predeceased by 3 brothers, George, Raymond and Russell Haydel, and a sister, Agnes Stevens.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 5-8p.m. at the
Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.
