Holliston-

Carole L. Curnyn, 70, of Holliston, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015. Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy and Robert Norton. She was the wife of Michael E. Curnyn who passed away in November 2013.

Carole was active with the Holliston and Hopkinton Senior Centers and was a former teacher’s aide at Adam’s Middle School in Holliston. Her biggest job was that of being a grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Tompkins and her husband Jeffrey of Holliston and Christine Moloney and her husband Edward of Falmouth; four grandchildren, Austin, Abbie, and Tucker Moloney and Makayla Vittori; 3 siblings, Janice Gilmartin and her husband Richard of Middleborough, Jack Norton and his wife Debbie of Middleborough and Stephen Norton of Framingham. She also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Patricia Pereira of Holliston as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two siblings, Robert Norton and Marilyn Marcotte.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31st from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com. A funeral mass will take place at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, April 1st at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Holliston Senior Center, 150 Goulding St. Holliston, MA 01746.
