Holliston-

Carl William Schnapp, 69, of Holliston, passed away after a long battle with cancer, on Friday, September 4, 2015. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Alma (Vogt) and George Schnapp. He was the husband of Susan J. (Hiehle) Schnapp of Holliston.

Carl retired in 2002 after working 35 years as a Regional Director of Compliance with the FDIC. He was a member of the Holliston Lion’s Club, Holliston Historical Society, The Holliston Good Times Investment Club, Friday Morning Breakfast Club and the Holliston Mystery Club. Carl lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his smile and laughter will be missed.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Theresa Howell and her husband Brian of Colorado, Emily Kevork and her husband Alex of Medway; his brother, Jim Schnapp and his wife Karen of Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Ella and Sylvia Howell and Zara and Briggs Kevork; his nephew Tony Schnapp and his wife Amber of Texas and niece Andrea Stotler and her husband Matt of Ohio. He is predeceased by an infant daughter, Amy Marie Schnapp.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8th from 4-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 9th at 10:30a.m. at St. Mary’s of Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holliston Lion’s Club, P.O. Box 6112 Holliston, MA 01746, Holliston Historical Society, 547 Washington St. Holliston, or St. Mary’s Church, 8 Church St. Holliston.
