Holliston-

Carl Herbert Patterson Jr., 67, of Holliston, died Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston after a short battle with cancer. Born in Marlborough, he was the son of the late Hazel (Marston) and Carl Herbert Patterson Sr. He was the husband to Elizabeth (Coye) Patterson of Holliston.

Carl worked at Raytheon for 42 years and was a member of the National Guard for 6 years. He was an antiques collector and enjoyed yard sales. Carl was an avid golfer and loved his family and friends.

Besides his wife Elizabeth of 43 years, he is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Therrian and her husband Jeffery of Holliston and their children, Jessica, Abigail and Jeffrey Jr. ; a son, Andrew Patterson and his girlfriend Maria Goncalves and their son, Blake Patterson of Framingham. He also leaves behind a sister, Patricia McMahon and her husband Joseph of New Hampshire, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4-8p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will take place at 10:00a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
