Brendan J. Perry, 82, of Holliston died peacefully at the Massachusetts
General Hospital on July 25, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was born
on May 19, 1928 in Lowell, Massachusetts to the late Lillian M. (Brown)
and William F. Perry. Mr. Perry, a graduate of Boston University with
A.B. and A.M. Degrees in Biology, received his J.D. Degree from Boston
College Law School in 1960. He practiced law on a full time basis for
nearly fifty years thereafter. During his career he represented clients
in Massachusetts District, Superior, Probate and Appeals Courts as well as
the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. He was also licensed to
practice before and represented clients in Federal District Court, the
Circuit Courts of Appeal for the 1st and 9th Circuits and the United
States Supreme Court.

Mr. Perry was a former member of the Board of Trustees of The Rivers
School and the Board of Fellows of Boston College Law School. He served
for a number of years as Chairman of the Holliston Zoning Board and was
former Treasurer of the South Middlesex Bar Association. He was a member
of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the South Middlesex Bar Association
and the American Trial Lawyers Association, now the American Association
for Justice.

In 1975, Mr. Perry founded the law firm of Brendan J. Perry and
Associates, P.C. Christopher M. Perry and Terance P. Perry, sons of Mr.
Perry, joined the law firm upon graduation from law school. The firm
specializes in various forms of litigation, especially Civil Rights and
personal injury.

In 1983 Mr. Perry co-founded Interface Electronics Corp., a regional
wholesale distributor of franchised lines of electronic components
(semiconductors), parts and assemblies. The company was sold to a NASDAQ
listed company in 2000. He also co-founded elcommerce.com.inc., a
Delaware corporation engaged in the design of supply chain methods and
systems which were patented in 2005. Additional corporate affiliations
included service with Integrated Software Solutions, LLP, and Interface
Systems Group, Inc., Massachusetts based software and hardware development
companies which he helped form. He was also actively engaged throughout
his career in real estate development. He enjoyed community service,
having served as Chairman for numerous local fund drives, as Co-Chairman
of a committee to fluoridate the Holliston water supply and as Chairman of
a committee to prevent the establishment of a substantial garbage disposal
site in Holliston (CRINC). Both efforts were successful.

Mr. Perry enjoyed golf, fishing, boating on his beloved Martha’s Vineyard
Sound and, most of all, spending time with his family at his home on Cape
Cod. Two of his favorite ports of call were Lake Tashmoo and Tarpaulin
Cove.

Mr. Perry leaves his wife of 54 years, Mary Catherine (Shea) Perry, four
children, Brendan M. Perry, Brian M. Perry, Christopher M. Perry and
Terance P. Perry, daughter in-law Karen A. (Bonnet) Perry, four
grandchildren, Brian Perry, Jr., Connor Perry, Quinn Perry and Alanna
Perry, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Calling hours at the Chesmore Funeral Home 854 Washington St. (Rt. 126)
Holliston, MA from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on August 2, 2010. A private
funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Holliston.
