Holliston-

Brenda Theresa Chamberlain, 74, of Holliston, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was the daughter of Helen (Rice) and Owen Cheverie and was the wife of 51 years to Warren Chamberlain of Holliston.

Brenda was raised in Braintree and graduated from Braintree High School. She worked for John St. Andre Law office for more than 45 years. She was a member of the Grange. Brenda and her husband were the founding couple on the First Board of Directors for Retrouvaille of New England, where they were also the secretary couple of Retrouvaille International for 3 years. They enjoyed their time together traveling by car.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Laura Coughlin and her husband Charles of Shrewsbury, and David Chamberlain and his wife Erin Tiffany of Kingston, NH. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Rowan and Elizabeth Chamberlain and her step-grandchildren, Alec Coughlin, Kayla Moore, and Allen Moore. She is predeceased by her siblings, Paul, Bobby and Donald Cheverie and Constance Leonard. She also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews, and their children.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18th from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 19th at 11:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701 or cancer.org
