Holliston-
Betty Jane Scott, 72, of Holliston, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Mildred (Gilkes) and Charles Scott.

Betty was an employee at Dennison Crossing for 36 years before her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, spending time in Martha’s Vineyard and Florida and had a large Betty Boop Collection.

She leaves behind six siblings, Shirley Krebs of FL, Mildred Dias of Vineyard Haven, Charles Scott and his wife Melody of Southborough, Nancy McGinnis of Natick, Robert Scott of Holliston, and John Scott of FL. She also leaves behind a cousin Frances Scott of Mendon as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6th from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) A funeral home service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, March 7th at 10:00a.m. Burial will be held on Friday afternoon, March 8th at Oaks Grove Cemetery in Oaks Bluff, Marthas Vineyard.
