Holliston-

Bernard “Bernie” Angliss, 72, of Holliston, died Monday, February 23, 2009 at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Born in Michigan, he was the son of the late Morgan and Florence (Pearson) Angliss. He was the husband of 47 years to Laura (Taylor) Angliss of Holliston.

A Holliston resident since 1962, he worked and taught the youth at the Holliston Baptist Church. He attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Norfolk. He retired from Honeywell at 55 years old. He was a loving dad who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Dan Angliss and his wife Beth of Texas, Ken Angliss and his wife Laura of Franklin, Doug Angliss and his wife Carol of Texas, 1 daughter, Janice Vaughn and her husband Mark of Framingham, 1 brother, Ken Angliss of Michigan, 2 sisters, Marilyn Rice and her husband John of Holland, and Carilyn Beabout and her husband Bob of PA. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Lynn Marie, Stephen, Brittany, April, Zachary, Cameron, Nolan, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Morgan Angliss.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 27 from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00a.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Norfolk. Donations in his memory may be made to either, Emmanuel Baptist Church, 63 Rockwood Rd. Norfolk, MA. 02056 or to the charity of one’s choice.
