Barbara R. Geishecker, 81, of Hopkinton, died Sunday, October 19, 2008.
Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Mason)
Mullen and wife of the late Edward Geishecker who died in 1990.

She was a longtime Hopkinton resident.

She is survived by 2 sons, David E. Geishecker and his wife Caroline of
Harwich, MA., Alan W. Geishecker and his wife Alice of Woodbridge, VA., 1
daughter, Sarah J. DePaolo and her husband Gary of Hopkinton, 2 brothers,
Peter Mullen and his wife Addie of Rochester, MA., Kenneth Mullen and his
wife Patricia of Canyon Country, CA., 3 sisters, Jane Smith and her
husband Richard of Westborough, Miriam Nigro and her husband Eugene of
Reading, Linda Rogers and her husband Kenneth of Plano, TX. She also
leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Cassie, Angelina, Julie, Jack, Kyle,
Anthony, and Mitchell, as well as 4 great-grandchildren. She is
predeceased by 1 sister, Elizabeth Carey and 3 brothers, John, Donald, and
Gene.

A funeral service will take place on Monday, October 27 at 10:00a.m. at
the Woodville Baptist Church on Rt. 135 in Hopkinton. Internment will
follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are from the Chesmore Funeral
Home of Hopkinton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Umass
Memorial Visiting Nurse and Hospice Assoc. 650 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA.
