I met Barbara in 1997 when she started attending walking events sponsored by Walk 'n Mass Volkssport Club. She was such an inspiration to me. I hope that I can stay as active for as many years as she did. While I would get together with Barbara in recent years for short walks on Hopkinton's Center Trail, the last volkswalk we did was in Lexington in 2019. I will miss you, my friend. Rest in peace. Heartfelt condolences to Barbara's family.

Not only did I share my name with Aunt Barbara, but our love of outdoor adventures, family and friends. She had a long and active life and may the memories all be good ones.
