Barbara (Peters) Holbrook, 82, of Franklin, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Born in Holliston, she was the daughter of the late Mabel (Eddy) and Tio Peters. She was the wife of 55 years to the late Allan W. Holbrook.
Barbara grew up in Holliston. She retired at the age of 77 and worked hard her entire life. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She loved music, dancing and spending time at the beach.
Barbara is survived by her children, Allan and Gary Holbrook, Sandy Laverne, Jean Tilton; her brother, Robert Peters; grandchildren, Misty, Samantha, Brandi, Nichole, Alicia, Niki, Austen, Cameron, Spencer, Ashley, Casey; great-grandchildren, Mario, Brynn, Charlie, Jordan, Jared, Logan, James, Jaxon, Mark, Jordy; and her beloved cat, Coco.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 18th from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A graveside prayer service will follow visitation at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston and a gathering at the VFW in Medway will follow.
