Framingham – 

Audre Hoy Bush, 90, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2022, at St. Patrick’s Manor.  Born in Newton, MA on August 14, 1932, she was the youngest daughter of the late Margaret F. (Keller) Hoy and George J. Hoy. She was the wife of 33 years to the late Thomas W. Bush.

Audre was raised in Newton, MA and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in the Washington DC area and Immaculata College for Woman, PA. Audre enjoyed living in many places including Washington, DC, Pasadena, CA, Bellevue, WA, and Peoria, AZ. She moved back to Massachusetts in 2020 to be closer to family. Prior to retirement, Audre enjoyed a long career in Human Resources. She was very proud of her 46 years of sobriety. Her family recently gathered to celebrate her milestone 90th birthday, which she spoke of frequently until she passed. Her sense of humor and adventure will be missed. Audre was an animal lover, she leaves behind her treasured cat, Boober as well as previous dogs, Joe, Winston, Rueben, Oprah, Dan and Moose and cat, Mike.

Audre is survived by her nieces and nephews – Holly Wydra of Wells, Maine, Cheryl Kelly of Holliston, Brian and Judy Kelly of Mansfield, and Margi and Steve Annese of Holliston. She also had a very special and close relationship with her great nieces and nephews, Skip (Carolyn) Kelly, James Kelly, Kathleen Kelly, Jen (Rob) Porter, Kelly, Michael and Kevin Annese as well as 5 great great nieces and nephews, Mabel, Finn & Clara Kelly, Max and Colin Porter. She is also survived by her stepson, Chris Bush (Laurie) of British Columbia, Canada and their two children, Lauren and Jackson (Lisa). She will be missed by many cherished friends, especially Sandra, Cathy, and Ken. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ellen Hoy and Georgia Hoy Kelly, as well as her brother-in-law, Thomas E. Kelly and her nephew, Thomas Edward Kelly, Jr. 

Following Audre’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
