CARY, N.C. — Anna Veronica “Annie” Dwyer Amico, died Thursday, March 30, 2006. She was the wife of the late Gaetano Anthony Amico. Born in Allston, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph Dwyer and Anne Brodie Dwyer. She was a parishioner at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary, N.C., since 1984. Prior to moving to Cary, she was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holliston.
She leaves her daughter, Mary Anne Amico Dunham and her husband, Mark, of Cary, N.C.; her sons, Dr. Guy Amico of Salem, Ore., and John J. Amico and his wife, Mary, of Seattle, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was the mother of the late Peter Anthony Amico.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 3, at 10 a.m., at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, April 6, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holliston.Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Holliston.
Visiting hours are today, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (www.brownwynne.com), 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, and on Wednesday, April 5, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Holliston.
Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary’s St., Suite 400, Raleigh, NC 27605.
