Alvin B. Wood Jr., 71, of Holliston, died at home on Monday, November 12, 2007. Born in Hartford, CT., he is the son of Margaret (Morris) Wood of Bloomfield, CT., and the late Alvin B. Wood Sr. He is the husband of Carolyn E. (Taylor) Wood of Holliston.

A Holliston resident for the past 36 years, he was an elder of the First Baptist Church of Holliston and worked at Polaroid for 28 years.

Besides his wife Carolyn of 48 ? years, and mother, he leaves 2 daughters, Kara O’Bryant and her husband Gary of Holliston, and Terri Carter and her husband Ian of Marlborough, 1 sister, Irene Beatrice Llewellyn of Bloomfield, CT., and 1 grandchild Jasmine O’Bryant.

A graveside service with Pastor Scott Foster will be held on Thursday, November 15, at 10:00a.m. at Lake Grove Cemetery on Highland St. in Holliston.
