Alice M. Swanson, 86, of Holliston, died Sunday, July 25, 2010. Born and raised in Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Gladys (Mineheart) and Robinson King.

Alice joined the Navy Waves following her Father and twin brother’s enlistments. She had been in the reserves in Boston, MA for many years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars and worked at Valpey Fisher. Alice enjoyed traveling; especially to Disney World and collected stuffed and ceramic bears.

Alice leaves her first husband Paul Cutter of Holden, MA. 1 daughter Linda Christensen and her husband Bob of Holliston, her twin brother, Robinson King Jr. and his wife Nancy of Florida, a brother, Kenny King of Des Moines, Iowa, a sister Susan Noland of Des Moines, Iowa; 3 grand children Lorie, Paul, and Mark, and 2 great grandchildren, Zackary and Jonathan. She also leaves several step-children, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her second and third husbands William Vicini and Gordon Swanson as well as her daughter, Paula Trotter and her sister Margaret Jane Priebe

Visitation will be on Friday July 30, 2010 from 5-8 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home 854 Washington St. (Rt. 126) Holliston. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com. Burial services will be private at the Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. A Memorial service will be held in the Hartford Street Presbyterian Church on Sunday August 8, 2010 at 1:30 pm.
